I’ve got beef with the creative geniuses of today.

More than anything on this planet, I love exceptional art and media. But the creative geniuses blazing the trails for movies, tv, and music often bias towards adult content. Profanity, sex scenes, and immoral acts are commonplace among the most exciting and innovative art produced today.

 

But that isn’t the type of media that I personally enjoy.

 

I want incredible movies that I can recommend to my 16 year old sister.

I want catchy songs that I can listen to in the car with my kids.

I want YouTube videos I can watch without feeling afraid someone will walk in on me.

 

I want to experience and create the best art and media possible, but I want to do it without compromising my values. I want to prove that you can make more of an impact with clean content than you can with controversy.

 

52 Weeks is a space where people can find positive media gems, without having to wade through mounds of junk. 52 Weeks represents a community that chooses to make, consume, and share positive content. A space where I personally experiment with sharing positive messages and see what makes them stick.
